About Babs

Babs Beckwith is a longtime Alexandria resident, and has been an entrepreneur in Old Town for more than 30 years.  Her former business, a well-known specialty boutique called "Slightly Laced," catered to many Washington and Alexandria notables.  Babs is a fixture in Old Town, a classic woman in the midst of a classic city.

Thanks to her years of work with the people of Old Town, Babs has developed a deep familiarity with the area's unique, valuable homes as well as a commitment to serving the equally unique needs of their owners.  As a real estate professional, facilitating the sale and purchase of such homes in Old Town and throughout Alexandria, she puts this knowledge and commitment to work for her clients to help them reach their ownership goals.

Activites & Affiliations
Babs is a member of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), Virginia Association of REALTORS® (VAR), the Northern Virginia Association of REALTORS® (NVAR) and National Trust for Historic Preservation. She is also a Council Member of the Cancer Research Foundation of America. Interests of Babs' include music, opera and all performing arts, as well as flower gardens.
